The Nieu Bethesda Sports Club is an important institution in the social life of our village. It is where generations of folk have gathered to socialize, play tennis (and later bowls) and meet around more formal matters like the local farmers’ association, church fellowship, blood donations, art courses and exhibitions, wedding celebrations and even as a voting station. 

With the changes that modern life brings, it has become increasingly challenging to maintain the club and its vital infrastructure, nestled in the village centre. These raffles serve as an important financial injection to achieve just that. 

Please support us so that we can continue to keep our doors open, both for our regular members as well as for the many casual visitors to Nieu Bethesda, whom we warmly host at most Saturday evening braais.
